The Membership of the CCABC consists of five categories:
REGULAR MEMBERSHIP: Any individual operator of a Place of Interment or a Crematorium.
INDIVIDUAL: Any individual not qualified for regular membership, but is associated with a regular or supplier member, or is retired from the cemetery and crematorium profession.
ASSOCIATE: Any company, organization or individual concerned with the provision of death care services and whose interest is to advance the objectives of the CCABC.
SUPPLIER: Any memorial dealer, company, organization or individual that provides goods and services to places of interment, crematoriums and their operators, employees or clients.
HONORARY: Any individual who, subject to the discretion of the Board of Directors, it is deemed desirable and appropriate to honour for their contribution made to the CCABC and to cemetery and cremation service in general.
In any case, where a division of a corporate group of licensed operators or any other group entity engaged in the provision of cemetery or cremation services, desires membership in the CCABC, all individual operators or cemetery or crematorium entities within that group who are in any way related and engaged in the provision of cemetery or cremation service must also be, or apply to be, regular members. No division or individual entity of any such group may be granted associate membership unless the cemetery or cremation service providing entities or division of such a group are, or apply to be, regular members.
Each Regular Member shall have one (1) vote.
Supplier, Associate, Individual and Honorary members shall have no vote in the affairs of the CCABC.
